Terms of Service

By downloading or using Hona Financial, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.

1. Use of service

Hona provides software for tracking receipts, project costs and financial documentation. You agree to use it lawfully, and not to misuse, reverse engineer or attempt to damage the service.

2. Accounts

You are responsible for the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity under your account.

3. Subscriptions and payments

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly
  • Free trials convert to paid subscriptions unless cancelled before the trial ends
  • Where you subscribe through an app store, that store handles billing and cancellation under its own terms
  • You may cancel at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period
  • Refunds are not provided for partial billing periods
  • Prices may change with 30 days' notice, and existing subscribers keep the price they signed up at for as long as the subscription remains active

4. Stakeholder access

You may grant stakeholders — typically lenders — access to individual projects. That access is a grant from you: scoped to the projects you select, limited by the permissions you set, and revocable by you at any time. Stakeholder access is provided at no charge.

Hona records that a draw request was approved. Hona does not move money, hold funds, or act as a party to any loan. Funding happens entirely through the lender's own process.

5. Data responsibility

You are responsible for the accuracy of data entered into Hona. Hona is not responsible for errors resulting from inaccurate input, including amounts read from a receipt image by automated text recognition, which you are expected to review before posting.

6. No financial, tax, legal or lending advice

Hona is a software tool for organisational purposes. Nothing in Hona constitutes financial, tax, accounting, legal or lending advice. Consult a qualified professional.

7. Intellectual property

All content, features and functionality of Hona are owned by Proprietary Solutions LLC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

8. Availability

We aim for reliable service but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation, and are not liable for downtime or data loss caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

9. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms, misuse, or non-payment, with or without notice.

10. Limitation of liability

Hona is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Proprietary Solutions LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, including business losses, arising from use or inability to use the service. Total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the 12 months preceding any claim.

11. Dispute resolution

Any disputes arising from these Terms or use of Hona shall be resolved through binding arbitration in Maricopa County, Arizona, under applicable Arizona law. You waive the right to participate in class action lawsuits.

12. Changes

We may update these Terms. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
